Info for speakers and meeting organisers
Welcome to the Gymtec & Sportec fair at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre on 19–20 March 2025!
Below is information that we hope you will be familiar with in advance. Please pass this information on to all performers and people involved in the event. Please check our website or your order confirmation for the program time and location of your performance or event.
FAIR ADMISSION
Exhibitors do not need a separate performer card, the exhibitor pass is sufficient. Exhibitor passes can be printed from the exhibitor portal.
Performers, speakers, organizers and visitors can enter the event free of charge by registering in advance or on site. Parking and cloakroom are also free for performers. Free cloakroom is redeemed against a performer card. The performer card must be collected on site from the information desk at the northern entrance. More detailed parking instructions can be found below.
PARKING AND ARRIVING INFO
Parking is free for performers and speakers. The performer and parking card must be collected on site from the information desk at the northern entrance. The parking card is presented to the parking attendant when leaving the venue and does not need to be taken into the car during the fair. The parking permit is valid for the entire duration of the fair. Exhibitors are entitled to free parking by presenting their exhibitor permit when leaving the venue. Parking is charged for operators/visitors outside the event and for fair visitors.
NOTE! There are a limited number of parking spaces at Tampere Fair and Sports Centre. We recommend using hotel and train station transfers or public transport.

PROGRAM AREAS AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Below is information about the technology of the fair's program stage, presentations, and the technology of the seminar and conference rooms.
For presentations on the program stages, we hope to receive the compiled, presentation-ready material in advance, no later than Wed 12.3.2025. If it is not possible to send the presentation in advance, the presentation material must be delivered to the venue on a memory stick well in advance of the start of the presentation. It is not advisable to show the presentation via cloud services. If your presentation includes video material or music, it is particularly recommended to deliver it in advance so that we can ensure the functionality of the material and the smooth progress of the presentation. Tampereen Messut Oy is responsible for the Teosto fees for background music played on the program stages.
The program stages and facilities are in continuous use, so we hope that your presentation/event will remain on schedule.
The program stages have a technician and a program assistant who help with technical matters. We hope that the performer will arrive at the performance area at least 10 minutes before the start of their performance.
If you have any special requests regarding your performance, please contact our program producer as soon as possible.

SEMINAR AND MEETING ROOMS
Seminars and meetings at the fair area are organized in the Seminar Center, in the conference room corridor of Hall D (NOTE! The conference packages mentioned on the pages are not valid during the fair.)
Seminar and meeting rooms on the map
A laptop is ready in some of the lecture rooms. If you want to show your presentation from your own computer, the computer must have an HDMI output/Display port. Please let us know if you need a different connection for the room. There is internet access in the seminar and conference rooms, the logins can be found in the rooms. If you need additional equipment or additional information, please contact the program producer (contact information at the end of the page).
We hope that you will not show your presentation via cloud services and that you will bring your presentation with you on a memory stick. Apple computers need an adapter with the data cannons in the seminar rooms (please read the room-specific instructions on technology below). Please note the 16:9 aspect ratio when making your presentation. The recommended font size is 20.
Our facilities are in constant use, so we hope your seminar/meeting will remain on schedule.

NOTE! High-resolution videos do not transfer well wirelessly. If you need a wired connection to the projector, please note that Macs and at least new Lenovo laptops require an adapter, and the latest HP laptops also require the adapter that came with the computer. If the computer does not have a normal-sized HDMI or VGA connection, an adapter is necessary.
